The short version: Echoly is an AI conversation-practice tool, not a certified tutor or language-proficiency exam. Its replies and coaching tips are generated by AI and can be wrong, awkward, or occasionally miss context a real native speaker wouldn't. Use it to practice and build confidence — don't rely on it as your only source before something that actually matters (a certified exam, an official document, a medical or legal conversation).
Echoly lets you practice conversations in a language you're learning by roleplaying real-life scenarios with an AI. It's meant to help you build conversational confidence and fluency through practice — it is not a certified course, a proficiency test, or a substitute for instruction from a qualified teacher.
The AI's in-character replies, translations, and coaching tips are generated automatically and are not reviewed by a human before you see them. They can be inaccurate, unnatural, or miss regional/dialect differences. Don't treat anything Echoly says as an authoritative reference for grammar, vocabulary, or cultural norms — when it matters, check with a qualified teacher or a trusted reference.
A free account is required to use Echoly, so your progress can be saved and synced across your devices. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know if you think someone else has access to it.
Echoly is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Echoly and its creator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on AI-generated content that turns out to be inaccurate.
